What is organic JAS certification?
This certification is required in Japan to sell products that are claimed to be organic. The screening is conducted by a registered certification body (third-party certification body) authorized by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, in accordance with the standards set forth in the Organic JAS Law. Our company has selected JONA as our certification body. JONA is the first organic certification body in Japan and has a reputation for being stringent in conducting the screening. Our company’s products, which have met the standards in the screening performed by JONA, are of reliable quality.
By obtaining the organic JAS certification, the organic system is recognized to be equivalent with that of the following countries and allows us to export organic food products.

Organic Tea Grown Together with Farmers
We acquired Organic JAS certification and began selling organically-grown tea from 2000 as a pioneer among the tea industry in Japan.
We supported organic tea cultivation by making contract with organic tea farmers in Kyoto, Nara, Mie and Kagoshima through our own network.
Our strong partnerships and collaborative efforts with farmers are enabling steady supply of organically-grown tea leaves and matcha that are completely safe and reliable.
We will continue our endeavor to supply high-quality organic tea that could meet strict standards of the world and contribute to the development of organic tea cultivation, while deepening the bond with farmers.
